Projection California prep righty with fringy present stuff. Listed at 6’3”, athletic build with room to add strength throughout. Quality athlete with solid arm speed and loose, fluid movements throughout his delivery, some rotational effort to finish. Fairly clean, offline arm path with some length into 3/4 slot. 

Works his FB at 88-92, has fairly good raw spin but a pedestrian movement profile that will be hit hard over the plate. More velocity to come as he matures. SL at 77-81 is his primary secondary, slurvy shape that flashes quality bite and sweep, look of an above average or better offering with refinement. Little used CH at 80-81, only saw 2 with one bouncing and the other showing some fade to glove side. Hard to grade it out but will aggressively say it can get to average. 

Present control doesn’t impress, but has the delivery and athleticism to hesitantly project to average as he gets more repetitions. 

There’s nothing standout in the present profile, but has an intriguing blend of foundational traits that could pop. Wide gap between what he is now and what he could be, but worth developing as a starter to see if more potency comes. TCU commitment, nice projection arm to develop if the bonus ask isn’t too high. Could certainly see a steep rise up draft boards if he can translate his traits into increased stuff in college.
