Edgar Reinoso INF 2027/28

(Note: Video-only look)

Bat-first, switch-hitting INF with chance for real impact at the plate. Taller with good frame, room to add strength throughout.

Loose, rhythmic swing geared for loft from the LHH side with some length to path. Innate bat control and quality bat speed along with advanced approach create quality hit tool projection. Steeper path with less ability to manipulate barrel as a RHH, but still interesting here. Bat speed / strength combo should give him above average power.

Fringy hands and actions on the INF with below average lateral mobility. Concern with arm accuracy and strength in limited look. Will move off of SS, body has the look of 3B but will need to improve entire defensive game to profile there. See real likelihood he moves to an outfield corner.

Stands out for potential for an impact hit/power combo. Concerns driven by ultimate defensive home, but projects as one of the better hitters in the 2027/2028 class. Likely to receive large bonus, but lack of defensive value and inherent hit tool variance for a player this age would create hesitation to pay it.
