Athletic, young-for-class prep righty with appealing base of foundational traits. Listed at 6’4”, fairly narrow frame but very lean at present and will add significant strength. Uber-fluid mover with a clean delivery and loose, online arm action into a low 3/4 slot. 

Works at 89-93 with above average spin rates, see as playing fairly well given raw characteristics and relatively low release height. Easy to project more velocity given arm quickness and strength to come. CH at 82-85 is somewhat inconsistent but flashes quality tail, above average or better future offering to neutralize lefties. Slurvy SL at 78-82 that’s up to 2600 RPM and flashes quality depth and sweep, another above average pitch with more consistency.  Throws a cutter at 83-85, lacks huge break but gives a different glove-side moving velo band for hitters to think about. Tendency to drop slot to get around his cutter and SL, but not a major long-term concern.

Advanced control for age with developing touch to move arsenal around the zone. Youth, athleticism, and delivery lead to conservative above average command projection, could surpass this. 

While there’s no clear present plus secondary, will have numerous opportunities to get here given athleticism and ability to manipulate his hand. Conservatively assigned pitch grades, but bonus projection reflects conviction he will achieve one or more plus traits. Easy to see middle-of-the-rotation outcomes here with fit in comp round or the top half of the second. Once again, inherent prep pitcher risk would drive me away from selecting with premium pick. That said, diversity of appealing traits creates greater probability of upward variance which enhances the appeal of his profile.
